All members have full use of the clubhouse facilities, participation in a very full golfing calendar, WHS handicap maintenance and excellent social events throughout the year.
All categories of member also enjoy a discount card which offers a reduction to the standard bar prices.
There are no 'Joining Fees'.
The annual subscription rates for 2025 are:
- Full Adult Member - £160.00
- Adult Social member - £50
- Under 18 - £25
- Handicap & Scottish Golf affiliations only - £50 (no Carrickvale competitions, new members only)
Playing members subscription includes registration fees to Scottish Golf.
Membership does not include the course fees which must be paid to Edinburgh Leisure:

The combination of Carrickvale membership and varying “pay & play” options can offer really good value in comparison – your golf costs can be flexibly adapted to the time you have available for golf:
- Pay as you play from £32.50 per round
- Monthly direct debits of £68.99pm in summer months and £32.50pm in winter months, which can be turned on and off as required (in monthly periods) i.e. 1st April to 1st September would be 5 months @ £68.99
- Annual one-off payment of £588.50
- Concession / Junior rates are lower:
- Concession one off annual payment would be £449.50.
- 18 - 24 yr old annual payment would be £369.99.
- Under 18s annual payment would be £179.88.
- Under 12s play Edinburgh Leisure courses free of charge.
The Carrickvale membership and one-off annual payment would give an Adult unlimited golf all year round for a total of £748.50.
The Season ticket gives access to all 6 Edinburgh Leisure Golf Courses.
